Reperta · OneTap Core

Terms and conditions

Version 2026-11-07b-steam

In two lines

Reperta is a OneTap Core game. The character and everything it contains remain OneTap Core property: you can play as long as you follow these rules, and it is not an asset you own. Treat other players with respect and do not cheat; if you do, the character may be suspended or deleted.

Who we are, and what you are accepting

The game is by OneTap Core, the name under which Leonardo Messina publishes it: whenever these rules say OneTap Core, they mean him. He is the one who runs the game and makes it work, and you can reach him through the support form or at onetapcoresupport@gmail.com. By creating a character you accept this contract: it is an agreement between you and OneTap Core, and applies for as long as you use the game.

You must be at least 14 years old to create a character, and by creating it you declare it to us with a checkbox. If you are under 18, you need permission from your guardian.

Steam, and the demo

Reperta is played on Steam: your character is created with your Steam account and logs in with it, and a Steam account has only one character.

On Steam, those who haven't bought the game yet can play the demo. In the demo you explore the first 3 maps and can reach level 20: beyond that, any experience you earn is lost. At the Market you can buy and sell, and in trades you can give and receive, but you can only buy and receive what comes from those maps. Gems cannot be bought. With the full game the character carries on from where it was.

The demo lasts 6 months from when the character is created. If you don't buy the full game within that time, the character is closed: it can no longer be used, but we keep it for another 90 days, and if you buy the game during those days it comes back as it was. Once those days have passed we delete it with everything it contains, and the serial numbers of its items become free again: whoever finds those items again will receive those numbers, starting from the lowest. If you had bought gems with that character, though, we don't delete it when the demo ends: it stays closed until you buy the game.

A Steam account created less than 7 days ago, if its profile shows it, cannot play the demo, and no more than 5 demo characters a day can be created from the same network.

The character is ours, the use is yours

The character, its name, the artifacts, gold, essence, gems, titles, cosmetics and anything else that appears in the game are and remain the property of OneTap Core. What we give you is the right to use them within Reperta: a personal right, which cannot be transferred outside the game.

This means three things, stated clearly: you do not own any game items; those items have no value outside the game and do not convert to money; and the character can be suspended or deleted, as written later.

Gems purchased with real money are no exception: what you buy is a usage license within the game, not a good. The rights that law grants to the buyer remain, as does the right of withdrawal when applicable.

How we behave with others

In the game you talk and trade with other people. None of that is allowed here:

HARASS, threaten, insult, stalk someone, or say offensive things about their person, appearance, ideas, origin, who they love, how they pray or any condition.

Write SEXUALLY EXPLICIT content, or address someone that way, and never, under any circumstances, a minor.

SCAM: promise something in a trade and not deliver, get paid and disappear, impersonate another player or game staff, or deceive someone into giving you what they have.

Publish someone else's PERSONAL DATA, or ask for it.

Advertise, spam, chain messages, or direct people elsewhere.

Spread TERRORIST content, or push people towards violence: we remove it as soon as we see it, and within one hour of an order from an authority.

If you see a message or a name that you think goes against these rules or against the law, report it: with the REPORT button, in the chat and in the Showcase, or via the support form, under «Report a player»; choose the reason and, if you like, explain it in a couple of lines. You can also report without a character, by writing to onetapcoresupport@gmail.com: tell us what you saw and where, why you think it is illegal or against the rules, and leave us a name and an email if you want a reply (for abuse of a minor they are not needed). Only report in good faith.

A person reads every report and decides, and we tell whoever sent it what was decided and how to challenge it. If a report raises the suspicion of a crime that endangers someone's life or safety, we inform the authorities, as the law requires.

The chat's watchman

What is written above is not a list of good intentions: an automated check reads private messages and reports the serious ones to us — minors, unwanted sex, threats, hate, harassment, scams.

Then a person looks, and a person decides. No program blocks you and no program deletes you; but if what you wrote is one of those six things, what happens next is in the “Suspension and deletion” section.

How it works in detail, and what leaves our server, is in the privacy notice.

How to play, and how not to play

Do not modify the game and do not use bots or programs that automate anything for you, including autoclickers. Do not automate requests to the server, do not try to log into an account that isn't yours and do not try to get around the game's limits.

If you find a bug that gives you an advantage, do not exploit it: report it. Whoever exploits it keeps the bug and loses the character; whoever reports it does us a favor, and we thank them for it.

One character per person. Do not sell, buy, lend or trade characters, inside or outside the game, nor gold, essence, gems or artifacts for real money.

Choose a name that does not offend anyone and is not someone else's. When you choose or change it, an automated check reads it and warns you if it thinks it might offend; then a person decides. We replace an unsuitable name with a neutral one, tell you why, and at your next login you choose another one, for free; nobody will be able to use that name again.

Not all players are people

In the world of Reperta, alongside real players, there may be simulated players: characters controlled by the server, who explore, sell and buy at the Market like everyone else. They also compete on the Night Battlefield and take part in the draw for Odin's Banquet, and they can win prizes and places there. They also contribute gold to the monuments and take places in their leaderboards, so they can push you down into the next bracket. They serve to keep the world alive when there are few players, and they carry no mark that sets them apart from the others.

Suspension and deletion

If you break these rules we may suspend the character or delete it, along with everything it contains, without a refund. We always try to be proportionate: for something minor we give a warning; for something serious — scams, harassment, cheating — we simply close the character.

We always tell you why, which rule, how we found out — a report, the automated check or a check of our own — and that a person made the decision. You can respond via the support form: if we were wrong we will fix it. And you can always take the matter to court.

You can delete the character whenever you want, from Settings → Account (for a closed demo character, from the box that appears when you log in through Steam), without asking anyone. When you do, it is truly gone, as the privacy policy states.

A character that doesn't log in for 2 years in a row is considered abandoned: we may delete it with everything it contains, gems included, or take some items from it and put them back into the game, for example a low serial number. If you left us an email address we'll notify you at least 60 days in advance, and logging in once is enough to stop it all.

For the authorities

The authorities of the Member States of the Union, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services can write to us at onetapcoresupport@gmail.com, including for removal orders concerning terrorist content (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Article 11; Regulation (EU) 2021/784, Article 15). Languages: Italian and English.

The game changes

Reperta is a living game: we add worlds, change numbers, fix bugs. Items you own in the game may change in value, rules or name, and sometimes a bug must be fixed even when fixing it takes something away from someone. For the same reason we may change or remove an item from a character when it got there through our mistake, a bug or cheating.

The service is offered as-is, without guarantees of constant availability or bug-free operation. We make backups, but we cannot promise that game progress will never be lost.

We may close Reperta and shut down the servers whenever we want, even without a reason. We announce it in the game beforehand, unless a serious reason forces us to shut down immediately. From the announcement on, gems can no longer be bought, and you can spend the ones you have until the shutdown.

When the game closes, the character and everything it contains cease to exist. We do not refund the game, gems already spent or anything in the character: the only refunds left are those the law requires of us.

Liability

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for anything the law does not allow us to exclude liability for. Beyond that — a service interruption, lost progress, what another player does to you — we cannot guarantee anything: it is a game made by a small independent developer, and that is the deal.

Nothing in this contract takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes, and which law applies

If we change these rules substantially we will show them to you again, and to keep playing you will need to accept them again. Small changes, such as clearer wording, we simply make.

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer you can still go to the court of your residence, and your country's consumer protections remain valid.

For anything, the in-game support form is the most direct route. If you can't get into the game, write to onetapcoresupport@gmail.com.

What we record about this acceptance

When you accept, we write next to your character the date and the VERSION of this text and of the privacy policy, and keep a separate line in the acceptance log — so that if one day someone asks what you had accepted, the answer exists. That log also ends up in the backup copies.

If you delete the character, your name does NOT disappear from the log: it stays on record that that name, on that day, accepted this version. It is one of the few things of yours that survive deletion (the privacy policy lists the others), and we keep it for 10 years for one reason only: a nameless line would no longer prove anything, and that line is the proof that we showed you the rules and that you accepted them. We do not use it for anything else — it is not an address, we do not write to you, and it is not enough to bring back the character, which is truly gone.
